1. Information We Collect
This app collects the following data to provide discount rule management functionality:
- Store information: Your Shopify store domain and authentication session data (access tokens, encrypted).
- Discount rules: The discount rules you create within the app, including conditions, discount values, configurations, and widget bindings.
- Execution logs: Records of when discount rules are applied to orders, including order ID, cart total, and discount amount applied.
- Analytics data: Aggregated daily statistics about rule usage, discounts applied, and revenue generated.
We do NOT collect: Customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) of your store's customers.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively for:
- Managing and executing your discount rules at checkout via Shopify Functions.
- Syncing rule configurations to your store's AppInstallation Metafields (required for Shopify Functions to operate).
- Providing execution logs and analytics so you can review how rules perform.
- Processing billing and subscription management (if applicable).
3. Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted on secure cloud infrastructure.
- API access tokens are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before storage.
- All communication between the app and Shopify uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- We follow industry best practices for data security, including encrypted connections and access controls.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Data is only shared with:
- Shopify: Rule configurations are synced to your store's Metafields as technically required by Shopify Functions.
- You (the merchant): You can view, export, and delete your data at any time through the app interface.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- When you uninstall the app, your store data is marked as inactive and preserved for 30 days in case you reinstall.
- After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.
- For GDPR compliance, when a shop redaction request is received, all associated data is permanently deleted immediately.
- You can request complete data deletion at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You can view all data stored by this app through the app interface.
- Correction: You can edit or update your discount rules at any time.
- Deletion: You can delete individual rules or uninstall the app to remove all data.
- Portability: You can export your rule configurations at any time.
